Ter testinin geliştirilmesi ,kistik fibrozisin tespitinde devrim yaratmıştır.. SM-01 ter analizörü Kistik Fibrozisin tanısı için güvenilir bir test cihazıdır. Aynı şekilde laboratuvarlarda, hastane ve kliniklerde, doktor muayene odalarında kullanılabilir. Cihaz herhangi bir yaşam döneminde kullanılabilir. Test sonucu, 48 saatten daha büyük, 3-4 haftadan önce yenidoğanlarda da güvenilirdir, ancak bebekler gelişmemiş ter bezleriyle doğduğundan, yeterli miktarda ter toplamak genellikle zor bir iştir. SM-01 cihazı, 0,5 μl ter ile çalışabilen bir cihazdır.

Test süreci iki adımda gerçekleşir:

• İyontoforez sırasında Pilokarpin terlemeye yardımcı olur. İyontoforez için kullanılan akımın yoğunluğu ve zamanı ayarlanabilir. İyontoforezin akımı aniden ortaya çıkan tahrişten korumak için sorunsuz çalışır.

• Ter Toplama ve ölçüm kapalı sistem Prob ile yapılır.

  Cihaz ile ölçüm iki şekilde yapılabilir:

• Temel ölçüm, ölçüm sonucu cihazın ekranından okunabilir.

• SM-01 bilgisayar ile uyumludur. Bilgisayar yardımı ile hasta bilgileri SM-01 cihazına girilebilir, cihaz bu bilgileri ve ölçülen sonuçları depolar. Bilgisayara, gönderilen sonuçlar saklanabilir ve laboratuvar raporu yazdırılabilir.

The sweat test revolutionized cystic fibrosis detection. The SM-01 sweat analyzer is a reliable diagnostic tool for Cystic Fibrosis. It can also be used in laboratories, hospitals, clinics, and doctor's examination rooms. The device can be used at any point in life. The test results are reliable in newborns when they are more than 48 hours old and less than 3-4 weeks old, but because babies have underdeveloped sweat glands, collecting enough sweat is usually difficult. The SM-01 device requires only 0.5 μl of sweat to operate.

This device is also suitable for testing newborns and premature infants due to its small sample size and probe size. Sweat measurement in the SM-01 device is determined by identifying all ion content using the sweat conductivity principle.

The testing process takes two steps:

Pilocarpine is used during iontophoresis to help sweat. The current density and duration of iontophoresis can be adjusted. The iontophoresis current works seamlessly to protect against sudden irritation.

The collection and measurement of the top is done using a closed system probe.

There are two methods for taking measurements with the device:
The basic measurement can be read on the device's screen.
It is compatible with the SM-01 computer. Patient information can be entered into the SM-01 device with the help of a computer, and the device stores this information along with the measured results. The results sent to the computer can be stored and a laboratory report can be printed.
